When you join one of our events, you might wonder: what kind of women will be there? The truth is, they come for all sorts of reasons. Some are looking to connect with like-minded women in their community, some come to network, others arrive out of curiosity, for the love of good food, or simply to support me, Jessie.
Founded by Jessie Wales, "She Speaks" is a female-only supper club series created to spark meaningful conversations, inspire creativity, and build genuine connections. While we’ve launched with Supper Clubs, we’re already dreaming bigger - "She Speaks" After Hours events and "She Speaks" Retreats are on the horizon.
The idea was born from a late-night conversation about the lack of local spaces for women to connect outside of London. She Speaks is more than just dinner, it’s a space for honest stories, shared experiences, and a supportive community.
Our first events took place in Surrey in September 2025: on the 11th, hosted by the brilliant Jo Elvin, and on the 25th, hosted by the equally inspiring Anna Woods of Positive Retail. Guests enjoyed thoughtfully curated food, uplifting conversation, and an inclusive, relaxed atmosphere where women were encouraged to speak freely and leave feeling energised.
Whilst we launched in Surrey, we have ambitious plans to grow across the UK and beyond, She Speaks is becoming a movement for women craving real connection in an increasingly digital world. At the heart of everything, our priority is you, our growing community. Whether you join an event, follow along on social media, or share our story, your support means everything. With 25 years of experience in PR and communications, I’ve built Jessie Wales Communications as a PR consultancy focused on helping brands show up with purpose and impact. From strategy and press visibility to partnerships and thought leadership, my work is about visibility that actually resonates.
That same passion for visibility and connection led me to create She Speaks Supper Club, a platform and series of intimate event experiences where women come together to share stories, ideas, and moments. It’s where communication becomes conversation, and where visibility takes on a human, real-life dimension.
Through both platforms, I’m deeply focused on the power of story - whether it’s helping a brand articulate its voice or helping a woman step into hers.
Areas of focus: brand storytelling, strategy, community building, communications consultancy, partnerships, women’s empowerment. I also collaborate as a senior comms consultant with PR and marketing agencies, helping lead and drive key accounts.
